The 60 Seconds Mad Dash Promo (Post Wrap).

The 60 seconds Mad Dash Promo is the 3rd event ICM will be organising to reward its loyal customers this year and as expected, it was all fun stuff. Shoppers who spent N10,000 or above in any of the stores in ICM were directed by Brand Ambassadors to drop their receipts in the boxes designated at the three entrances to the mall. Collation of receipts started on 19th and ended on 28th May. The raffle draw took place yesterday and the 10 winners were selected through the lucky dip process by store representatives of Etisalat and Foschini. The winners were called and told to show up at ICM for the promo. Only seven out of the ten winners were reachable.

As winners arrived, we took them through the promo mechanics to ensure clarity on what was required of them.

Amongst the winners include Mrs. Olayinka Onatola who grudgingly acceded to her daughter’s request to participate in the promo. She bought a phone from Samsung and dropped her receipt. She was skeptical about the whole promo but due to her daughter’s persistence, finally gave in. She came in with her daughter who of course took charge of proceedings and took Olayinka to the Lego shop where she helped her mother spend the cash.

Other excited winners shopped at Shoprite and Da Viva. Mrs. Janet Orekoya for instance gave her intriguing story about how she eventually decided to participate in the promo. According to her, earlier in the month, she came into the store to shop at Da Viva but the store had not opened for business that particular day so she decided to buy at Truworths and return to Da Viva some other day. It was a decision she would never regret as not only was she one of our ten eventual winners, she had an additional ten thousand naira to buy what she initially planned to buy at Da Viva.

Other winners include Ben Tobilade, Yusuph Abdulrahman, Omeka Victoria, Ope, Toyosi Kuti, Michael Okafor, Femi Aiyegbusi and Olayide Shiyanbade who shopped at Shoprite, PC Corner, Office Everything,  Montaigne Place, Glendora, Novesa, iStore and Sims respectively.

Each winner was given 60 seconds to dash into their choice store and pick any item not more than 10 thousand naira. Members of the press from The Nation, The Guardian, Nigerian Tribune and Thisday were present to cover the event.
